March 15, 20215 yr I would love this outcome for us. Taking a prep positional player is definitely what we should do, all else being equal.

Or is this like one of those situations where he'll be drafted with almost the expectation that he'll be moved to those other positions? Kind of like a poor man's Bryce Harper "we'll try him at C until he shows he can't" type thing?

He can play catcher. There's just no reason to do so if the bat is as good as advertised
