“I went five-and-dive unfortunately. So, had to tax the bullpen a little bit. They all did a great job,” said Giolito, who ended a personal three-game losing streak. “The defense behind all of us was spectacular today. “Getting two outs on one batted ball after getting into trouble immediately, definitely needed that,” Giolito said. “It would have been nicer to strike out the side, but you can’t have it exactly how you want it every time. I don’t think anyone on our side was worried about that, knowing what our offense is capable of.

“Sure enough, [the White Sox] answered back and I was able to navigate through the next four innings. That’s the word I would use, navigate.”

Would be a terrible motto. Doesn’t flow. Change the game is dope, but I don’t think that sticks anymore under TLR. I’ll always be partial to Win or Die Trying.

No team with Luis Robert, TA, Yoan Moncada, etc., can be "ugly."  We're too stylish for that now.

I don't know how much heart and spirit they showed this series. It was kind of a butt whipping basically. Jump on em early and bring it home for the easy W.

I had never heard the “five and dive” saying.  That’s funny and good for Giolito for wearing it and give props to everyone else.
