October 1, 20214 yr I have defended Phil in the past, but his take was wrong on so many levels, it comes across to me as he is campaigning for JR to give him a job. Comparing pre pandemic and middle of the pandemic attendance when there were restrictions in place. Acting like JR wasn't banking cash during the rebuild, which the White Sox even admitted. And finally blowing off the funds they will make with some postseason home games. Just the 2 inthe ALDS is going to get them 8 figures. I won't even blame him for forgetting how many seasonticket packages they have sold the last month which will guarantee them a huge spike next year even if they were to suck.
