What the hell is going on? It's already opening day, on a season with high expectations, and there is no game thread yet on opening day itself? Usually this one is made way ahead of time. The disappointing offseason really killed the excitement for a lot of fans.

    Upset the Cubs didn’t sell out?   Their PD thread was up days or weeks ago?

    At any rate, you’re going to jinx the game thread anyway unless the Cubs and Sox are playing, in which case the Sox will undoubtedly win on an Abreu homer.

    The other reason is undoubtedly the 60-75% probability the game tmrw is rained out.
