WHITE SOX ANNOUNCE TENTATIVE 2004 REGULAR SEASON HOME SCHEDULE

CHICAGO - The Chicago White Sox have announced the club's 2004

regular-season home schedule, with the White Sox opening the season on a six-game road trip before playing their U.S. Cellular Field home opener on Tuesday, April 13 vs. the Kansas City Royals.

The White Sox open the 2004 campaign at Kansas City on April 5, and the Royals visit U.S. Cellular Field for a three-game series (April 13-15) to open up the 2004 home season. The American League Champion New York Yankees make their only trip to Chicago April 20-22 for a three-game, midweek set.

The White Sox and Cubs again play home-and-home series in 2004. The Cubs visit U.S. Cellular Field for three games June 25-27, and the Sox travel to Wrigley Field for a three-game weekend series July 2-4.

The White Sox will face the National League East in interleague play in 2004. The Sox, who were 10-8 in interleague action in 2003, are scheduled to play the following three home interleague series: vs. Philadelphia (June 8-10), vs. Atlanta

(June 11-13) and vs. the Cubs (June 25-27).

The Sox are home for 13 weekends in 2004, facing Tampa Bay (April 23-25), Toronto (April 29-May 2), Minnesota (May 14-16), Anaheim (May 28-30), Atlanta (June 11-13), the Cubs (June 25-27), Seattle (July 9-11), Detroit (July 23-25), Cleveland (August 6-9), Boston (August 20-22), Seattle (Sept. 3-5), Detroit (Sept. 17-19) and Kansas City (Sept. 23-26).

The White Sox are home for 15 games in September, including 10 of their final 17. The final regular-season home game for 2004 is scheduled for September 26 vs. Kansas City.

The 2004 home schedule is tentative and subject to change. A complete

162-game schedule, game times and a broadcast schedule will be released at a future date.

Got screwed again, they don't even get the Yankees in a weekend series - AGAIN.

Not only that, but an April series with a good chance of bad weather.

That is a much more attractive bunch of weekends than we had in 2003 - only get Detroit twice and we get Boston and we get Seattle twice - so I am very pleased

sucks we have to open w/ KC again.

where did you guys find this? I'm trying to see when the Sox will travel to play the Yankees and Mets
