Sox Stat of the Day...August 3

Featured Replies

The last time the Sox (43-66) were at least 23 games below .500 (a season low) was the final day of the 2018 season when they were 62-100.

Some "window of contention" eh?

It’s hard to believe how much this team has declined in less than 2 years.

Seems like nothing has gone right since the FOD walk off

I'd say nothing has gone right since the Sox swept Baltimore in Baltimore right before the start of the all-star break in July 2021. They had the best record in the league at that time. Adam Engel's three run home run won it in extra innings.

Since then it's basically been s%*#.

So the main cause of their downfall appears to be winning?
