Just testing, since everyone knows by the spelling of Pederson like that around baseball.

Gallo got $5 million, Pederson got $9.5 million.  Seems like some RF candidates for the Sox could come pretty cheap.  Duvall, Rosario, Pillar, JBJ, Naquin, etc.

The Sox had Naquin last year.  He should cost nothing more than the minor league minimum if they even want him.

Assuming of course there’s any room in the reduced budget for even a cheap vet RF. I won’t be shocked by a MiLB or NRI landing the job by default.

Pederson will reportedly get $9.5M for 2024, and there is a mutual option at $14M for 2025.

 

I guess this means Tommy Pham isn't going back to Arizona. But it would be great drama if he did and they are still in the same fantasy football league.

The fantasy football aspect of that story was super interesting, if you're into fantasy football. It was very much like any fantasy league you are in with your buddies where person A thinks person B is doing something shady. Except person A doesn't sucker punch person B the next time they see them in person. And the commish of the league with you and your buddies probably isn't Mike Trout.
