May 12, 20241 yr Schultz done after 4IP, 1ER, 3H, 5K, 0BB. The run was a little unlucky: leadoff double, throwing error, grounder through the drawn in IF. Pitch count was only 60, but they seem set on 4 innings for now. Lucas Gordon looks fantastic for Kanny tonight, he's through 5 without giving up a hit. Bush is also shoving, 7K through 4 scoreless.

They scored on a HR from the next batter. Hoopii-Tuionetoa flashed some nice stuff in his Barons debut despite the HR, got swinging Ks on the other two batters he faced.
May 12, 20241 yr I haven't seen any statcast data on Ky Bush but once it's available I'm willing to bet the dude has elite extension. Elite extension correlates with high strike out rates almost as well as elite velocity.
