BTW, it looks like Foulke is probably going to sign back with Oakland. Just what I hear.

Foulke fit Oaklands closer role very nicely this year, execpt when Hudson pitched of course....

About Koch, im not sure what i want to happen, cause i'd like to see if he can get his "stuff" back after an off-season... But if he leaves, i wont be crying either...

Go sox 2004 + #45!

What whould be the point of taking on Cedeno, wont that just add to are payroll??? It whould be pointless.

Naw, we'd save a million, but be on the line for his $5 million next season. If I could get the Mets to give us cash and a prospect in this deal, I would do it. I am not so down on Cedeno as everyone else is, he isn't that bad. I wonder how he would do if you put him in a different situation.

If we had traded Redman after last season from the Tigers, you guys would have gone nuts. Now look at him on the Marlins. It is a change of scenery and moving into a better situation. Granted, the money is a huge difference, but maybe we could even get him to rework his deal, giving him an extension. Who knows?

the link to today's New York Post gossip

http://www.nypost.com/sports/mets/42540.htm

Sez they are interested in Koch (1) and Foulke (2).

Not interested in Flash Gordon or Guardado

more disturbing reports about Roger CedeNO coming our way.

Can't we get the Mets interested in Jose Paniagua?

Keep in mind that the NY Post is considered more of a tabloid type paper and is the 3rd wheel of NY newspapers behind the Times and the Daily News.

I wouldn't bank on much that the NY Post breaks first.

I agree, based on the fact on how many players cant play in New York, let alone the Mets. I havent really followed Cendeno, so I cant really say anything to bad about him, I just know about the money, and it seems like he is making way to much for a 261 hitter.

It's not just New York, he's had a bad reputation with the Tigers, and the Astros(?). He's a whiny slug who should stay away from Chicago.

That's the minimum we should be askin for, to get Ringer back and Cedeno and mayb some cash as well. No way Cedeno for Koch straight up, if KW does that well I giv just giv up.

Yeah, I don't see how ANYONE can be in favor of giving Koch to NY for Roger FREAKIN Cedeno!!! We don't need his 10 million dollar albatross of a contract, I'd rather take a shot at Koch getting right. Hell, even if he doesnt, that 6+ mill is off our books after 2004. PLEASE, KW, think before you actually consider this horrid trade idea.
