He's still getting a healthy amount of walks and his ISO ain't bad...but yes overall you are right that he needs to make major strides with his hit tool.
July 1, 20241 yr Author Corey Knebel with his second straight .1 inning appearance rehabbing at AAA. Really struggling it appears. Zavalla low BA but continues to walk a lot. Walking at about a 16% rate. K rate last year in 30s now about 25%. Hopefully he gets a little BABIP luck soon.
