My issue with trading Crochet now is my concern that a contending team can’t trade for Crochet thinking they have a TOR arm for the entirety of the 2nd 1/2 and playoffs. I just don’t see a way Chrochet is able to throw that many innings. Obviously he has plenty of value beyond the next few months, but typically you can capitalize on the best value when a team is desperate at the deadline.

 

Of course there’s also the risk that Crochet is currently having what could be his career year and he’ll never have this high of value again.
