Whatever happened to the Irish in the Big10? I would think that would be a much better fit, both travel and academics-wise. Plus it would give the Big 10 an even number of teams again, as the ACC has already got 12 teams.

haha, what happened to OH WE DON'T NEED A CONFERENCE WE ARE TOO COOL ?

beat it notre dame, you snooze you lose.

I think ND should go to the Big Ten. There is already some natural rivalries, and that could give the Big Ten a championship game. I think it is silly for an Indiana team to be in a conference with Florida type teams, but conferences nowadays are all messed up.

Ha ha... Anyone who believes this is a total idiot. That and I'm sure the ACC would kick someone out (Boston College?) to make way for the Irish.

uh, no.

Too late now. Maybe they should've tried to join when they didn't suck.

Its not about how good they are, its about the name and Notre Dame is one of the most nationally recognized programs.

uh, no.

Right. Denial isn't just a river, you know.

Anyways, the guys at WSI are right... This has all to do with jacking NBC around and none to do with joining a conference.
