Man it was nice to see their defense step up and make some big plays and big hits when needed. Charles Tillman is just a badass. Great hits, great coverage, keys plays. It was fun to watch. Plus guys like Azumah making big returns, Bobby Grey with a huge hit on Shannon Sharpe to break his nose, the offense going 3-3 on 4th down, etc. This team is an offensive coordinator away from being decent.

That was an awesome game. I loved Tillman's instincts of how he always tries for the strip, like when he went for the sack on Jake, who switched the ball to his other hand like half a second before.

 

Gray can freaking lay the wood. He's gonna be good and I'm glad we have Green around too. Great depth to have. Brown isn't playing near as good though and I think that Briggs is the best linebacker on the team right now. Urlacher is doing alright, but he's missing that explosion and he's missing a lot more tackles.

I think Urlacher is really missing Ted Washington. He is getting many more blocks on his than he used to. And actually is seems like Briggs is the one benefiting from Urlacher being bottled up.

Well my thought is if Urlacher can't shed his blocks, then he is nothing special. I'm glad the Bears were able to get a pick for Ted Washington. Washington was older, past his prime and would of been a wasted player. Instead we get to see Alfonso Boone make huge strides and he will be one of our starting tackles next year.

Washington went down for the year like a couple weeks after he was traded right? Yeah i'd say it was a good move.

Yeah in the long term for the Bears it probably was a good move, I was just saying that Washington was the guy that made Urlacher a lot better.
