August 23, 2025Aug 23 Barons win Game 2 of the DH 4-3. Braden at DH went 1-3 with a walk, August slash at .358/.456/.552 Antonacci 1-2 with a double, a walk, and 3 (!) stolen bases. Could be joining Braden in the .900 OPS club soon, he's at .895. Murphy went 5 IP with 1 unearned run.
August 23, 2025Aug 23 Ryan Burrowes has had a nice bounce back year just looking at the stats. Still super young. Any of our Sox writers can give their thoughts on him. Only thing I heard in an interview a couple months ago was he’s still very raw with the fundamentals of the game. Has never really watched baseball on tv before signing, so will sometimes makes a lot silly mistakes. lol! Hopefully wee are seeing progress in that area.
