December 5, 200322 yr I got up at 5 this morning, had basketball practice 6:15-7:45 and we have a late start due to VERY crappy roads after like 4 inches of snow. I didn't realize people came on this early in the morning. I don't have to be at school til 10:20. I'm also going to play again tonite in a JV game and I'm going deer hunting Sat and Sun. Just sort of a mishmash of my thoughts...

December 5, 200322 yr I'd hate to be living in Texas where there's absolutely no variety weatherwise. We stretch from average highs of 60 in the winter to 105 in the middle of summer. We have beach and golf seasons. Flowers bloom year round. I will admit right now is absolutely perfect weather. By the time June hits we will be basking in 100 degree days for weeks on end so that sucks. But I'll trade weeks of 100 degrees for snow, ice, slush, wind chills of -anything anyday. We have 4 seasons, Spring, summer, bake, and broil. Nothing like wearing shorts to a hockey game and not freezing my huevos off.
December 5, 200322 yr Nothing like a snowball fight during Blackhawks and Bears season!!! Agreed, it's about the only way to be entertained at a Bulls or Bears game
December 5, 200322 yr We had one of those delays today too....we got 4 inches over night, and there's been a consistent light snow all day.
