I may be overinflating his worth or what I expect of him, but I truly think that Joe Crede will be "Scott Rolen II" next season.  He won't hit the same amount of HR's but he will be our "diamond in the rough."  Or as some people call it - a "sleeper."

Now if only Joe Borchard could remove his head from his ass and cut down on his swing .......

That is why I didn't put Joe with the others. Even if we had a $100 million payroll, we would still put him at 3B. He is special.

I agree with alot of you're stuff, just I am not sure if most is achievable or not.

Actually, I'm a realist. Most people get that confused with a "pessimist."

An optimist will see a half-filled glass of water and say that it is "half full."

A pessimist will see a half-filled glass of water and say that it is 'half empty."

A realist will see a half-filled glass of water and say that it "was either drank from, or the server forget to fill it to the brim."

If Joe Borchard could turn things around for himself, he could be HUGE for the Sox.

Question guys. All things being equal, who would you rather sign, Colon or Millwood. I believe Millwood would be less of a gamble, health wise, over the length of a long term deal.

Personally I'd still go with Colon just because of the fact he can throw 98 to 100 MPH fastablls which he should just throw all da time, and he can lead da league in complete games. I wouldn't say Millwood had da best season in Philly, not like the season he won 19 games with Atlanta. Health wise sure Millwood's got the edge, but I don't think neither one of these guys deserves more than a 3 year deal at the most. Chan Ho Park is the perfect example of that, I think he's crippling da Rangers not A-Rod. :headbang

Yes, that Chan Ho Park contract was a major screw up, but still ARod's deal is definitely crippling the Rangers.

When I woke up today I heard someone from a New York Paper say that they thought Washington or Portland would be the final destinations but thats been getting said for so long now and nothing seems to be happening.

The Expos won't go anywhere until some lucky community offers to pay for a nice new stadium for them to play in. Also now that Vasquez is gone I really see them keeping Vlad so they can get more money out of potential ownership groups when they finally settle this.
