Of Sox off-season moves surround Lee, Ordonez, Konerko, Thomas and Koch.

 

I'm wondering why we haven't heard any talks of Jose Valentin? I was shocked (and a little frustrated) when the Sox gave him $5 mil for 2004. The only logical explanation might be that they were looking to deal him and pick up part of this salary.

 

On another note.. Hypothetically if the Nomar-Manny-ARod mess happens why not get the White Sox Involved.

 

Texas trades A-Rod to the BoSox who then trade Manny to Texas and Nomar to the WSox. The WSox then trade Koch to the BoSox.

Valentin has been connected to several teams, and latest talk is their is interest in him. Just stick round here and read some the past threads and all will be known in the White Sox Nation.

Supposedly their has been quite a bit interest in Jose.

 

This is a ss who hit 28 hrs and knocked in 74 RBI's or so. You can't find many to put up that kind of production. THe problem is he also strikes out a lot and hits a for a very very low avg.

Any idea which teams could possibly have interest in Manos?

I wouldn't have a clue, but I'd guess the Cardinals (Looking to move Renteria and need help at 2nd), Dodgers, Orioles and probably some others.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if the Rangers, assuming they trade ARod, would have interest in him as well.
