What are the Mets gonna do with Jose Reyes now that they have signed Kaz Matsui. I thought Jose Reyes was the most exciting thing coming out of that organization. Are they just gonna keep Reyes or will they move him?

If they had an interest in Konerko thats who i would want.

He would, but I don't think the Sox have anyone out there that would be able to get Reyes. If they were in fact interested in Maggs, then I'd think that Reyes would have to be a must have, but thats pure speculation and I don't think Maggs goes, unless the Sox can't deal Konerko and Koch...meaning their is a good shot Maggs gets dealt, but the Sox will try all their other options first, imo.

We should try something with Mags and Koch for Reyes and maybe even Cedeno. I would take Cedeno if we could get a good deal including Reyes.

It's hard to believe that Reyes is only 20 years old. I wouldn't mind dealing Maggs to get Reyes and someone else in return. At this point any signing sounds good. I hate the calmness.

If Reyes is all he's cracked up to be, and not just the usual New York hype, then yes I'd even take Cedeno to get him.

From what I read in the Sporting News, Reyes didn't want to leave the SS position, but neither did Matsui, and basically, Matsui costs a hell of a lot more, so Reyes was coaxed to move. Either way, they have a keystone combo that I would kill for.

 

Okay, I wouldn't kill for them, but you know what I mean. (You have to be so politically correct nowadays. Tsk tsk tsk).

They're gonna hav a great DP combo for many years to come. Hopefully Reyes will develop nicely in the majors and not become another Brandon Phillips.
