December 11, 200322 yr For losing to stinking NIU. Geeze this is like two years in a row. They beat Louisville and then lose to NIU. Man, I sure hope they can get some big wins and do good in the big ten. I have high expectations this year and I expect to see the Hawks in the NCAA tourney.
December 12, 200322 yr I haven't been online on Soxtalk for like more than 5 minutes at a time for a week. I watched the game on tv. UNI is full of pure shooters and McDermott outcoached Alford. Hawks will have a long season if they continue to let teams shoot like that.

December 12, 200322 yr That sucks, they were about to put themselves in a real positon to be a factor in the Big Ten. And I certainly thin they are going to make the tourney this year. I was pretty sceptical before the season started... I really wanna see the Texas Tech game on the 22nd... I think they'll lose, but that's a quality test. That will really tell alot about how the Big ten season is going to go.

All the instate games are always close. It was in Cedar Falls, so I guess you could use the Home court as an excuse. But that argument is thrown out when you hear that UNI lost to furman at home three days before.
