December 12, 200322 yr I wish they would play like that all the time. It would make this offseason sooo much easier.....DE-TROIT SUCKS!! DE-TROIT SUCKS , not really, but it was a fun game to watch!
December 12, 200322 yr Give the Wings a break, they had a minor leaguer in net. Just kidding. f*** those bastards!!!

December 12, 200322 yr Author Lets not celebrate too hard, they are still last in the western conference if I'm not mistaken i know, but its always nice to see a good hockey game. Yea, still in the cellar of the west
December 12, 200322 yr i managed to turn it on to see tuomo's nice goal but then to see us give up a goal when they had an empty net.. .nice to see we won
December 12, 200322 yr Give the Wings a break, they had a minor leaguer in net. Just kidding. f*** those bastards!!! An $8 million Minor Leaguer!
December 12, 200322 yr They always play well against the Wings. Too bad they aren't motivated enough to put out that kind of effort consistently. I think it's time to dump Sutter and give Yawney a shot.
December 12, 200322 yr They always play well against the Wings. Too bad they aren't motivated enough to put out that kind of effort consistently. I think it's time to dump Sutter and give Yawney a shot. That certainly would be a start. Call up Anton Babchuk and Vorobiev, giv em and da rest of da kids consistent mins, and trade DUI Alex as well.
December 12, 200322 yr Author That certainly would be a start. Call up Anton Babchuk and Vorobiev, giv em and da rest of da kids consistent mins, and trade DUI Alex as well. im for that, and dump daze while your at it...i would pick up holdout comrie...that guy is going to be real good
December 12, 200322 yr They always play well against the Wings. Too bad they aren't motivated enough to put out that kind of effort consistently. I think it's time to dump Sutter and give Yawney a shot. As a matter of a fact, since 1999 NO team has put up more points against Detroit than the Chicago Blackhawks... If we could only play the Wings every game we would win it all
December 12, 200322 yr Red Wings had also played the previous night, not easy to do with the number of key guys they have on the injured list. SlackHawks will have to do a next-nighter tonight in Dallas. I expect the worst...
December 12, 200322 yr It was something like 7 or 10 guys that were in injured the night before the Hawks game, right?
December 12, 200322 yr It was something like 7 or 10 guys that were in injured the night before the Hawks game, right? Not that the Hawks have any key injuries or anything. That was the one thing that was annoying about the national broadcast was the constant whining and feeling sorry for the poor beat up Detroit Red Wings :puke LOOK ACROSS THE ICE AT THE OTHER BENCH!!!
December 12, 200322 yr The Red Wings are always getting ass kissing from the game announcers. I still remember how dumb-founded the announcers were when the Canes beat them in OT the first game of the Stanley Cup Finals June 2002...the only win for the Canes...
December 12, 200322 yr Not that the Hawks have any key injuries or anything. That was the one thing that was annoying about the national broadcast was the constant whining and feeling sorry for the poor beat up Detroit Red Wings :puke LOOK ACROSS THE ICE AT THE OTHER BENCH!!! The story I saw was referring to the fact that the Red Wings were still playing WELL while missing a lot of players. The SlackHawks have played just well enough to lose and lose and lose and lose. And aren't going to do a goddamn thing about it, because they are counting on a work stoppage next year, and don't want to commit ONE DOLLAR more than necessary for players. That would be the difference.
December 12, 200322 yr And aren't going to do a goddamn thing about it, because they are counting on a work stoppage next year, and don't want to commit ONE DOLLAR more than necessary for players. Many teams seemed to take that philosophy in the pre-season and another team that seems to be adhering to it are the 'Canes.
December 12, 200322 yr Many teams seemed to take that philosophy in the pre-season and another team that seems to be adhering to it are the 'Canes. Basically everyone except the Avs and Wings are in standstill mode. The whole NHL knows they are going on strike and that is all there is to it.
