I like this guy he is a good utility infielder and a decent hitter altho not as good as graffinino he could fill the void that graffanino left even juan uribe probably is tony's replacement. He was non-tendered by the A's.

Menechino=STEROIDS

He came up in the Sox system, I believe he signed with Oakland as a 6 year minor league free agent.

He was taken in the Minor League portion of the Rule 5 draft after the 1988 (I believe) season.

Where the hell do you come up with that from?

Fair enough....... I just know that Frankie is no bigger now than he was when he was in Birmingham and has no power........ doesn't seem 'roid like to me.

Gabe Kapler (Boston OF) was also non-tendered. If we're going after "Roid Boys," then we should at least consider him. :D

the red sox should've been called the roid sox last year I went to a game aganst them with good seats and they all were huge. half of their players had bulging muscles and bodies but tiny heads.

Frankie always seems to fall in and out of favor in Oakland.

He'll probably show up there again as a backup -- somehow.

doesn't seem like Guillen's type of player. Rather have a utility infielder who can run a little and play more than one position.

Speaking of Kapler only.......

Kapler has always been a bodybuilder. When he was in the Minors he was on the cover of some fitness magazine. The guy is a workout fanatic and has always been chiseled. I don't buy the steroids argument for him either.

the thread title caught my eye

all Italian men are studs, just to state a known fact

Why do people think we got Uribe???? :huh:

Ok, what's the trick here? Is Uribe not the player we traded Aaron Miles for? Was he non-tendered and I missed it?
