January 15, 200422 yr Ok so maybe it's a joke, but what else do we have to be excited about around here.
January 15, 200422 yr Their logo should be 2 crossed steroid syringes with a hunk of cork in the middle with a urinal stall in the background.
January 15, 200422 yr Yeah maybe they should have heimlich instructsion handed out at the gate of their home games?

January 16, 200422 yr I wish it were true. 2004 is going to be the longest f***ing nightmare in Chicago baseball history. Even with Houston's new starting pitchers, the Cubs are going to be tough to beat. I think they moved a couple steps forward while others are stepping back either through age or loss of players. This is the best looking Cubs team in my lifetime dating back to the 1960s. I am so glad I'm 1600 miles away. I really dislike happy Cub fans. I like the lovable losers.

Don't buy that far into the hype. The Astros offense is still way better than anything the Cubs can throw out there, and so is their bullpen.
January 16, 200422 yr I agree. I think that Houston kicks their ass all over the place, barring injuries. Houston had a terrible start last year, which ended up biting them in the ass. But I think that Houston is overall stronger then the sCrUBS right now. Although it will be interesting to see how Pettitte fairs without the Bronx Bombers behind him now.
January 16, 200422 yr And with Billy Wagner coming in to close all those games that Roger and Andy throw . . . oops one of the best closers is now in Philly so the Astros could save a few dollars. Since I selected the Astros as my NL team I have to see all the problems, it's in my genes.
