January 22, 200422 yr From Rotoworld: The Rays are likely to get Damian Moss signed to a one-year deal today. Moss's contract will probably be worth about $800,000. He should be part of the Tampa Bay rotation. This would have been a nice, cheap pickup for us, but still think that there are better options out there for us..(hopefully the supposed Philly trade).

January 22, 200422 yr I think it would of been a good pickup, simply because he had some pretty good production with the Braves. I realize there is a change between the AL and NL, but its a risk worth taking, imo. Considering they gave Person 500K guarantee, whats another 800 K to get Moss guaranteed. But I don't have a problem with Person.
January 22, 200422 yr I wanted him to sign with us. He's cheap so why not give him a chance. He was good at Atlanta and I keep hoping he is the other lefty on our rotation instead of Schoenweis.

Oh well, I can always tell da White Sox generals to come down here more often and sign sum youngsters that could progress thru da system. Moss will pretty much replace Joe Kennedy for Tampa Bay, if he gets his control problems worked out, he could be a pretty good pitcher for em. Nice pick up at only 800,000.
