Anyone Heard any good Bulls.....

Featured Replies

any input would be appreciated

Everything seems to be quiet.

But the Aaron McKie for JYD deal is supposed to be the most likely to go down.

The other rather likely deal would be the Giricek/Fizer deal with the Bulls also getting Tyron Lue and Shammond Williams.

Gabriel recently said that Giricek wasn't on the market, but I don't know about that.

I also have read a few places that Crawford is gone, but like we were talking about yesterday that would go the opposite of what Paxon has been hinting.

Chad Ford's latest Insider artice says that JYD to McKie is likely to happen.

I heard Michael Jordan was going to get traded to the Washington Wizards for lots of cash and a full arena.

Oh wait, that happened a couple of years ago...

I'll tell ya, they are going to f, it up. From the sounds of it Paxson is just going to make a trade for the sake of making a trade.

Someone please tell me what's the point of trading JYD for McKie. I looked at their stats and bio and I don't think this will be the trade that would turn the Bulls season around or help them in the future. Does it have something to do with money? Is McKie's contract up after this season?

Getting JYD out... good thing.

I dont see how this guy could be anything more than a defensive back-up. He cant make a point blank lay up.

Mckie makes a little less, but the contract lengths are the same.

I think the reason they want to do it is Crawford is going to be gone next year and Paxson wants flexibility.

I read an article today saying that the Bulls will not go over the mid level exemption for Crawford.

Its amazing that Pippen is worth that much money, even though he won't even play next year, but Crawford isn't.

:fyou Paxson ; Crawford is becoming such a better player now that Skiles is here. They are all learning a new system, Chandler is just getting healthy and this team needs a few minor moves now (Moving Fizer for someone like Ely or Giricek; If you can get someone solid for JYD, do it) and then use your pick on Okeafor or make a deal with the pick this offseason, potentially for an all star type player).

This is only half a season or so with Skiles and Curry and all the other players are growing immensley and that includes Eddie Robinson and some of the other role players. Don't break this up, give this team a chance, rework some of the role players let the C-Unit build and add another player via the draft pick (Whether adding a rookie or trading it for a good veteran).

Don't make a move for the sake of making a move Paxson, but thats what it seems like your going to do.

Plus, I never thought I'd say this, but Corie Blount is really becoming a very solid player off the bench. McKie would really provide some defense.

We all need to forget about Pipp and Gill, cause they won't be around.

Exactly what I was thinking. This accomplishes absolutely nothing.

I'd be all about the Fizer to Orlando trade though.

Giricek is an excellent shooter but he can't play defense AT ALL. He wants big money afta is contract is up afta da season as well. I'd be a very happy Magic supporter if we did that deal, and then traded Howard to Philly for Snow and a pick or to Minny for Olowokandi.

-Quit picking on the guy

-It's alright for you?

-Yes.

Looks like Giricek mayb goin to Utah,

One of the deals the execs were pursuing was with the Utah Jazz -- Wednesday's opponent -- that would include sending Gordan Giricek and Steven Hunter to Salt Lake City in exchange for DeShawn Stevenson.

The Magic, who have the league's worst record at 14-42, were offering Drew Gooden, along with Giricek and Tyronn Lue to the Warriors for Dampier, who can become a free agent this summer. They continued to talk with the Timberwolves about a trade that included Juwan Howard for Olowokandi.

here's a paragraph about JYD-McKie trade i found in espn article about possible rasheed trade---

The Sixers and Bulls, as reported here last week, have been discussing an Aaron McKie-for-Jerome Williams swap for a while now. Williams' energy and rebounding acumen would certainly help Philly; it's how McKie helps Chicago that we struggle to see. If the deal ends up dissolving, you can assume the Bulls ultimately saw the same limitation.
