February 21, 200422 yr 260 lbs is still pretty big for a pitcher. But it's better than 310. Maybe if he makes the club, he'll slim down some more.

February 21, 200422 yr Good story. This is what you like to hear and see from pitchers battling for those open spots. You lso like to see that they have had some recent success. Carlos castillo and Frank Campos may bring a fire with them and the other pitchers in the mix might actually catch a little of their desire also.
February 22, 200422 yr Back in the day, Carlos was really "puffy." I bought his old jersey at an auction, and I can still use it as a bedspread or tent. The guy was a really "large" specimen. I'm glad to see he's got his weight to a manageable level. If he can contribute, then bring it on. We need as many arms as we can find.
