TV report: Gabriel dismissed as Magic GM

 

John Gabriel is out as general manager of the Orlando Magic, according to a report aired by WESH-TV, Channel 2 on Thursday night.

 

Sportscaster Pat Clarke, citing no sources, said that Gabriel had been dismissed by the team and that the organization would inform Magic employees today.

 

Neither Gabriel nor Chief Operating Officer John Weisbrod returned calls.
