MLB 2005

Featured Replies

Another Baseball game out on the PS2 Market, got a 7.9 from Gamespot. Oops, it's MLB, not MVP.

Gamespot Review

I saw a commercial earlier, do they not know it is 2004?

I had MLB 2004 and now have jumped ship to MVP. MVP is far superior.

989 sports games suck ass. They should just go under and quit embarassing themselves.

They are consistently 3 years behind in there games.

Atleast 3 years. Sometimes further.

It's like they're living in 20th century.

The online is supposed to be better in MLB than in anything else. Not much else going for it though.

I don't know how they manage to get PS1 graphics on the PS2.

989 used to rule on the Playstation in the late 90's with gameday and MLB but right as the switch to PS2 occured they sucked and couldnt put out anything decent for PS2 and EA has taken over the crown

Yea I think the last 989 sport game I got was NBA 2000 and NBA Live 2003 for EA just blew that away!

They are consistently 3 years behind in there games.

its kinda ironic because it is called MLB 2005 which is the future :bang

I've never played this new one, but they totally revamped the game and I think it is getting pretty decent scores! Not mvp numbers but still a big improvement i think.
