Chandler is the second quarterback to be released by Chicago this month, following Kordell Stewart. The Bears signed free agent quarterback Jonathan Quinn to back up Rex Grossman. The 38-year-old Chandler spent the last two seasons with the Bears and started 13 of 17 games played, completing 210-of-353 passes for 2,073 yards and seven touchdowns with 11 interceptions. A 16-year veteran, Chandler has passed for 28,021 yards and 168 touchdowns. On October 20, 2002, Chandler became the first quarterback in NFL history to start for seven different teams. Chandler is best known for leading the Atlanta Falcons to the Super Bowl in 1998. Looks like the Bears may be drafting a QB in the lower rounds. FAREWELL Crystal Chandelier!
