April 11, 200421 yr that's an understatement if i ever heard one. here's to destroying yankee morale tomorrow!
April 11, 200421 yr They've got some serious pitching problems. One injury to one of their top 3 guys "mainly Brown" AND THEY'RE IN DEEP s***.
April 11, 200421 yr Hmmm Vasquez is a 20 game winner on that team, Brown too if he stays injury free. Mussina I'd be worried about a lil more, and they need Contreas to be more consistent this year which is unlikely. But guys like Pay - Rod hav had really bad starts, so they'll definitely come around.
April 11, 200421 yr Nice excuse assbag. Just admit that you've gotten the s*** beaten out of you by two better teams. :finger Seriously though, they do look like s*** right now. No one is hitting worth a damn for them, the pitching has been rough, etc. That also happens because of good pitching and getting caught making mistakes. They've really only made one mistake(Hideki Matsui getting picked off 2B), but when the opposing team's starting pitchers allow 1 ER over 16 IP, you know something is wrong.

Ther are 4 certainties in life:death, taxes, the sCrUBS will attract 3 million lemmings a year and Kevin Brown is always one hamstring or groin pull away from a year long stint on the DL.
April 11, 200421 yr Part of the reason they are not hitting well, is because we're pitching well. Although, they've had opportunities that they have not capatilized on. Again though, that is due partly to good pitching and defense in general. If you want to go with dumb luck, that's fine, I'll take that too.
April 11, 200421 yr Let's hope they stay that way for another 10 days or so!! F'sure. It's a good time to get the Yanks series' out of the way.
