All Star Ballots

Featured Replies

Giles, Hernandez, Hoffman, Burroghs (sp?), Klesko, Nevin, Payton.

might as well add Khalil Greene to that list, maybe a few years down the road...

How funny.  Same idea at the same time.

Exact same people too.

BBTN mentioned some omissions...yet no Kong, who was only an AS two years ago.

Two years ago Kong wasn't on the ballot either.

I wrote Kong in. And for me, it's all Sox/Marlins/Giants. BTW, is Juggs working on one of those automated voting systems yet???

They still have em.

Really.......Well the last Time I went to a ballpark before June was May 2002 I believe and I dont rembering seein them.

I hate the fact that fans determine who makes the team. Last year when Frank really was tearing the cover off the ball, he was way behind Delgado (justified because he was putting up massive numbers) & Giambi (not justified as he was of the major suckage), therefore didn't get the nod by the fans. Then when MLB gave the option of adding an additional player, all those Red Sox fans stuffed the f***ing ballot box for a 2nd straight year (Mags got screwed in 2002 because BoSox fans stuffed it for Damon) to put Varitek in there.

I think the fan voting online is stupid, too. It's like being back in high school. It's just a popularity contest and not based solely on skill but on who's in the media's babies. Especially this early in the season. How can anyone possibly make a valid decision!?
