May 5, 200421 yr I like to see JR taking those walks. His K/BB ratio was out of whack early in the season. He seems to be being more patient at the plate as of late. He's at 9BB's and 14K's now -- About a week ago it was 3BB's and 12K's
May 5, 200421 yr Walks have never been a problem with Reed. I'm guessing he was just in the midst of adjustments and such. I'm ready to see him called up. I really think sometime in the next few weeks he's gonna be in Chicago.

May 5, 200421 yr What does Diaz throw again? I know I used to know, but I forgot... Strikes -- Which is an upgrade over wright -- he's struck out 31 this season while walking just 4. -- In his outing before todays, he threw 98 pitches, 73 for strikes.

May 6, 200421 yr Author Must not have been, I thought maybe he did cause yesterday I saw Flores was pitching and on the Kanny roster and Lopez was not, maybe he was taken off for one day and then brought back, due to needing a starter for DH. Also, Deininger is back, so they are at least 2 over roster limit, someone is gone.

May 6, 200421 yr I don't have a clue whats going on with the roster situation in Kanny. Usually they are really good about getting their releases out. I'm guessing something was going on where they had a player available or they made some sort of switch since it was a double header.

May 6, 200421 yr Well let's see him keep this up for another 2-3 weeks before even talking about it. He has 2 4-6 games which have him hitting .290. Outside of those 2 games he is hitting .211. I'm just happy to be seeing him hitting well at all.
