Rocky Biddle

Anyone out there still want him back?

One out. Expos manager Frank Robinson handed the ball to closer Rocky Biddle on Tuesday night with two outs in the ninth inning, asking the reliever to get one out. Instead, Biddle allowed three hits and two runs without retiring a batter. "He got behind hitters, didn't make good pitches and they hit him," Robinson told MLB.com. "All I was asking was to get one out. That's all he had to do. He didn't get it done." Over his last five appearances, Biddle has pitched four innings and allowed 10 hits and 10 runs while striking out none.

Who else did we trade away in the Colon deal? Leifer? Osuna? Anyone else?

That's it, we won that trade easily.

I can hear Chad Cordero's fantasy ranking creaping higher

Ouch, rough outing for Biddle.

We traded Biddle, Delvis Lantigua (a marginal RHP), Osuna, Leifer and maybe somebody else I've forgotten about.

Biddle is a nice guy who had trouble staying healthy. His poor results this year may be due to an injury, who knows.

He had a great first 1/2 last year, but I am not one who would ever clamor for Rocky Biddle to come back. IMO there are a lot of other, and better, options.

I'm fine with him being gone. Let's just hope that we can be fine with foulke being gone also. LETS GO MARTE!

Anyone else see the correlation between Danny Wright and Rocky Biddle, electric arms, health problems, control problems...

I just picked him up Sunday actually. He should be solid.

Damn u cheat for stealing him from me. I only put him on waivers hoping to grab him a few weeks later.

I think I picked him up a day or two after you dropped him -- I thought biddle would be the first guy in the majors to lose the closers job -- I don't think he's done that yet -- but there's plenty of season left -- I consider all trade offers.

Technically, we gave up Orlando Hernadez too, but we only gave him up after trading Osuna and Lantigua for him.

Some count him, some don't. I don't, personally, but some may.

Otherwise, I'm pretty sure you nailed all we gave up.
