Were we even on BBTN last night?

Featured Replies

Just wondering since a 15-0 blowout is so common. That should be in teal. I usually wait until the second half of the show anyway, since that's when they show the Sox highlights. Unless we're playing the Yankees or Red Sox. Just wondering, because unless they we're on in the first segment, which I highly doubt, I don't think they showed any highlights of our Sox last night. What does ESPN have against us?

We were in the Sidney Ponson highlights...

That wouldn't surprise me one little bit

:fyou ESPN

When Cameron hit four homers against Butter et al, we were on all the highlights. Same as when what's his name for Toronto had six hits the other night. They perceive us to be the Expos of the American League. Sort of the team nobody cares about.

We'll se how much they f***ing care about us when we win the series this year.

And thats because fans don't show up to the ballpark, we play in a bad division, and no one cares about the White Sox nationally. You know why the Yankees, Cubs, and Red Sox get the most coverage, because they have the biggest fan bases and are the marquee teams. Why would ESPN give the White Sox coverage at this point in the year? In August and September if we are still in the race we will get more coverage just as we did last year.

dont even bother 99, there will still be 3 threads a day about the media coverage we get.

if you people care so much about the media attention go be a cubs fan

Yeah my point was they showed us wrecking Ponson, if we keep winning and beating the people they say are "good", then well get attention.

We were on the longer session of ESPN BBTN at 10 PM EDT. They showed a lot of Maggs and the Big Hurt homer. Then the question was asked who should be happy where they were right now(team that is) and Gammons and Reynolds started bragging up Baltimore. Kruk likes the White Sox and said they were a good ballclub, but didn't have a closer yet.

The later verson of BBTN didn't have anything on the Sox till end of show highlights and then showed Maggs catching a fly and Hurt and Valentin homering.

I know on ESPN all it showed was Maggs single and Gloads single...

Didnt show Frank or Vals HR

its just sad the way were treated, but hey... we keep winning and it all doesnt matter

Just on ESPN they said that one Chicago team will make the playoffs. When they asked who the moron said the Cubs not that other team. Now they wont even say White Sox.
