February 21, 200323 yr Since half of SnR is heavy Metal, we had to bring back the music. And this year there will be a wider varity. Not just stuff we play. SnR will share a broadcaster with Chisport this year, but since we replay our talk shows on chisport, i got in touch with a few of the metal heads on live 365 and found some really cool stations! I have a few linked up now on Sox-and-Roll More will be coming! And we are getting our old domain name back. By next week, sox-and-roll.com will be back up so we dont have to use geos***ties anymore. Rock on!!!!!!!

I think I saw 'em at Champs, once. But that was a while back.

I did see them at Champs just before they broke out on MTV, and I thought they were the fourth-worst band I've ever seen ( the Bottom 3 being Flipper, The Flaming Lips and The Butthole Surfers ). Disturbed are truly horrible, in my opinion, even worse than Korn. The whole hoppity-hop nu-metal trend completely escapes me - I just don't enjoy that style of music. I like heavy metal and punk mainly, with some lighter stuff and old rap ( Ice T, Ice Cube, Dre ) on occasion.

February 22, 200323 yr I may have to put in a word for my very obvious favorite - as well as for Ludacris and 50¢ - not that I expect anything but several posts saying they suck - I'd also suggest some opera - Mozart's Le Nozze Di Figaro is so beautiful and so is Verdi's Traviata which I am seeing in March - and I expect a few more posts saying they suck - oh well - what about Ronnie James Dio? Saw him in concert and loved it!

February 22, 200323 yr While I have no problem with classical music ( not my music of choice, but I recognize the quality ), it really doesn't fit the programming on SnR. Of course, with Korn and System Of A Down starting off every show, GOOD HARD MUSIC doesn't fit the format either apparently! Entombed, The Duskfall, Shadows Fall, In Flames, Red Tape, Nevermore, Soilwork...the list goes on and on...all better choices than Korn or SOAD, in my opinion.

More like coming back to the bright side! I used to listen to alternative rock a long time (Nirvana, NIN, Pearl Jam), but then turned to Rap for a bit, and am now away from the dark side. You gotta get some POD on your server!
