honestly, you cant win them all. Sometimes you just have to say "today just wasnt our day". Unfortunetly, that "sometmes" comes every time a 5th starter takes the mound.

Someone made the post a bit earlier about Carlos Lee and his running blunders. I am too lazy to look up which one us did that post, but Carlos has made some real boneheaded running plays this year. Last year he did the same, if I remember right. Ozzie had best put a boot up Carlos' rear ender and shake the "kid" up a bit. He has no idea what he is doing on the basepaths sometimes.

I was going to add that he was throwing over to first and getting behind on Vlad and wasn't concentrating on the hitter. Figgins steals 2B and Vlad then walks.

Cotts with 2 pitches to Guillen in the dirst blocked by Miggy. Wild and hopefully he doesn't give up another run.

ggrrr we could have won this game. Only 1 inning of runs allowed all game. We had all day to catch up.

Uribe and Harris maybe the best up the middle combo on this team, but as long as he is under contract, Williams and Ozzie will continue to trot him out there.

He'll hit a couple off HR tomorrow and from there on out it's into summer months where some of those towering drives are gonna start siling out.

Unfortunately for Jose, his agent can't really sell foul ball homeruns when negotiating a contract. His bunting for sacrifice has been horrible lately. There has been 3 times the last week he didn't get the job done. There is a big difference between striking out and making outs other ways. If you hit the ball, you make the defense make a play, you also can advance runners. Pitchers tend to not pitch as well with runners on 2nd and 3rd, as opposed to 1st and 2nd. Thats not even taking into consideration passed balls and wild pitches. Two four K games with one three K game in a week is unacceptable.
