I'm sorry Maggs, but even when he's hitting at his best, Maggs doesn't hit 350 plus. And, to tell you the truth, I think that Vlad can keep this up. He is such a good contact hitter, add to that he is strong as hell. An awesome outfielder, talk about a five tool player there - you're looking at him.

June 3, 200421 yr Author He might be the best in all of baseball. There's nothing he can't do. He certainly has become, IMO, the second most dangerous hitter in baseball. In a few years he will be the best. But, the thing with Vlad - he hits bad pitches. For instance, one pitch I saw, it was at his ankles, and he hit it out. The only place to pitch him is in the dirt, or way way outside. If you fool him and get him out, that has to be a moral victory in itself.
