I just thought that I'd share this b/c I thought that it was pretty funny:

"News leak: 'Beat L.A.' screen big hit in Detroit

Don't look now, but the Pistons Urinal Screen is making something of a splash in Detroit.

The team's new souvenir was tested out at Game 4 of the NBA Finals in the Palace at Auburn Hills.

"Four years of college, 10 years of PR and I'm pitching urinal screens,'' Palace Sports and Entertainment director of strategic communications David Wieme told the Detroit Free Press. "We sprung it on the male patrons Sunday, and I heard a ton of response, all positive, all laughing, all taking it in good humor.''

When body-temperature fluids hit a black square on the urinal screen, "Beat L.A.'' appears. The screen are available at pistons.com for $10 through a "Bathroom Humor'' link.

The screens -- which were put in Palace restrooms, other than the Lakers' -- were a big hit.

"Surprisingly, well, maybe not surprisingly,'' Wieme said. "We didn't get one theft.''

You don't have to be a genius to imagine why."

I am looking forward to all kinds of merchandise coming out now -

and it will not include any memories of the "riots" and Detroit "burned down" that some predicted would happen :headbang :headbang :headbang

check your police reports from the Bulls 6 championships - I have been in Chicago for several of those and usually at least a couple people shot each time

and recheck your stats on detroit beginning with championships in the last 20 years, 1 Tigers, 3 Red Wings, 3 Pistons, 1+3+3>4 and that reaction has been very mild outside of the 84 Tigers -

OSU and MSU have good reps for rioting after games, maybe go after them? :huh

I hated Jordan's Bulls, but I can relate to what your saying considering Boston during their dynasty wasn't heaven.

No one was talking about MSU or OSU or Chicago, so why point the finger instantly at someone else? The guy acted impressed that nothing happened after a championship. Congratulation are needed because no one died? That is damned pathetic.

It is 7 to 7 in championships in the last 20 years.

Tigers 1, Red Wings 3, Pistons 3

Bulls 6, Bears 1.
