June 22, 200421 yr So DBAH0, what do ya think.. I'm glad we got rid of Juwan Howard. Wasn't worth a 6 year mid level exception deal. Steve Francis said he didn't want to get traded to Orlando, so we could hav another problem on our hands there. I don't think we're done, I see us trading Drew Gooden maybe for Atlanta's 6th pick, so we can make room for Dwight Howard or Emeka Okafor. I think Stevie Franchise will appreciate playing in the East next season though. We've been very hot on Derek Fisher, but I doubt we really need him now since we hav Francis. Expect us to go afta Mark Blount big time now, or even Erick Dampier.

June 22, 200421 yr Miami is going to be tough to beat for Blount, but Dampier is a good possibility, he's out of my Heats price range. It will be interesting to see if Rudy can keep Shaq and Kobe together, if so, thats gonna be an amazing battle against Yao and TMac.

June 22, 200421 yr Found this on Hoopsworld, Houston sends Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, Bostjan Nachbar, and Kelvin Cato to the Orlando Magic. Orlando sends Tracy McGrady, Juwan Howard, and Tyronn Lue to the Rockets. If we get Nachbar as well, I'm very happy with this trade.
June 22, 200421 yr Latest on ESPN was that Nachbar was NOT going to be included, and I got from that segment that Howard would then be the only player in the trade that could be picked in the expansion draft and it was very unlikely due to his contract.
June 22, 200421 yr I think Dampier's goin to be in a Grizzly jersey though, Jerry West is afta him big time. I agree w/ you on Dampier is going to Memphis. The Grizzlies were really interested in him at the trade deadline this year, and is gonna go after him hard in free agency.
