Question on homerun balls at the Cubs-Sox series

Featured Replies

In my opinion any "Sox fan" who would throw a ball back is really just a closet cub fan. Best thing to go is either give it to a kid or wait until you see Cliff Politte walking out of the bullpen and try to nail him in the head...

Ultimately, this is a moot discussion because the Flubs will not be going yard in our house!

And in the unlikely event they do, no, we should NOT throw the ball back.

Don't throw them back right away. When the Flubbs come to bat throw them at their outfielders ( ESPECIALLY SHAMMY) and peg them in the back.

Only a very young Sox fan would even ask the question about whether or not to throw the ball back to the field.

 Nicely played!

The Sox PA announcer should, after a thrown back home run, announce in his best Sam Wyche voice....

Do not litter the playing field. You're on the south side, not the north side! Act like it!

There's a very good chance that if the other team has homered, Politte is already on the mound.

Dave Wills first order of business on the postgame show:

Dave: Don't be throwing balls back on the field. Then he said his analogy and I called in and lastly said..."To finish your analogy...They throw the ball on the field, we don't have ignorant fans.

And if you are going to throw it back, at least launch it at the back of Shamee's head.

Or hold the ball and give it to a kid.

Also, punch the drunken idiot who tries to throw it on the field and take the ball.
