On a related note...I like how everytime a Cub Fan throws back a ball now, Chip Carey needs to comment on how that ball is a fake one that fan brought into the game and not the real HR ball. Cubs brass must be hearing the negative feedback towards this "tradition". So instead of telling fans to stop, they have Chip lie a bit. :banghead

June 23, 200421 yr From what I have gathered here, should I assume the prevailing opinion is no? ;-) Last night on the home run hit by Matt Lawton, I think the guy that caught it threw it back. There was a guy behind him trying to grab his arm so he couldn't throw it. I found that comical.
June 23, 200421 yr I really think that the USCF staff should escort anyone who throws a ball on the field to thier car immediately. Hawk & DJ should should show them being escorted out. The balls back on the field thing would end very quickly after that.
