June 28, 200421 yr Has anyone noticed the state of colon and ponson this year? abysmal mostly... its good kenny did not get them.... yes, garcia has a loosing record this year, but that i think is more a lack of offense in seattle this year. guess we will find out!
June 28, 200421 yr His losing record has everything to do with Seattles disappearing offense. Case in point, 3.20 ERA.
June 28, 200421 yr A 3.20 era in the al is like a 2.70 in the nl. Don't be fooled by the win-loss record. This guy is a total stud.
June 28, 200421 yr Colon and Ponson = fat and fat Freddy = not fat Nuff said. Freddy is big, strong, and seems to be in pretty good shape. He may be the exatc kind of pitcher that JR feels comfortable making a long term financial investment in. I just hope it has the opposite result as the Jamie Navarro fiasco. The only good thing about that was when the Sox finally shipped his ass out and us fans were all able to enjoy the benefits in the 2000 season.
June 28, 200421 yr I watched Garcia pitch at Texas back in May. He shut out the formidable Ranger offense for 7 innings before tiring in the 8th and they got to him and the bullpen for a 3 spot. That was one of his losses, but it was a damn impressive performance.
