I never read the Spiderman comics, so I cant claim to have a great knowledge of all the Vilans, but wasnt the Green Lanturn one? He might be him.

The Green Lantern is a DC hero (or rather a set of heroes) who uses a green ring.

Crimson - since you seem to have this pretty well down, I have a question.

What exactly is the thing talking to Norman in the movie(Spiderman 1)? You know, the thing that laughs and basically tells him what to do? Is that the Hob-Goblin? And if it is - why does he never appear in a certain form - like, why is he always appearing say in the mirror, or as a mask, but never as a fluid-form?

Norman is just insane and hearing voices.

The Hobgoblin is just some dude who later finds the Green Goblin equipment (but not Harry).
