Is he stupider then we all thought? Okay, i can see staying with your pitcher after 15 or 20 minutes. But staying with him after 2 hours. I see why Ozzie did it, Adkins didn't throw many pitches at all. Maddux was at 71. What a moron.

That's why so many Cubs pitchers have arm problems.

Dusty is going to burn that staff out in two years or less.

book it

dusty the pitcher torturer strikes again :headbang

I posted this in the game thread, but whatever, I'll post it here too.

Baker bringing Maddux back out shows once again that he is the worst manager in all of baseball. 3 rain delays, most recently a 1 hour long delay, and Maddux comes out. Of course he gets hit. Yesterday, he was foolish to keep Zambrano in with the lead, in the middle of the game, with him hurt. He keeps him in and he reaggervates it. Last Saturday he kept Zambrano in for 120+ pitches, just like yesterday even with the injury, and he got shelled the whole game last week. The Cubs would be a better team if they fired Baker.

Firing Dusty would take King-Sized stones. Plus it would be verrrrry expensive.

I don't think there is any doubt that Dusty Baker is just a fool that got lucky...

However be glad the cubs don't have a decent manager because then they would of won the world series last year.... :fthecubs
