July 4, 200421 yr Yep, Nanita hit way better in High A than Brice did, Nanita is really hitting in Low A now. Oh well. Kanny lost tonight, Flores, Deineinger, Lopez and Fabio all got pounded. Good offense tho from Schnur, Nanita, Gray and Valido. Bristol lost 1-0, the knuckleballer, Haeger with a very nice start.
July 4, 200421 yr Munoz's confidence is shot. Rick Ankiel anyone? That's going over the top, but I don't think Munoz will make it as a starter. Charlotte Box Also, the Warthogs' radio announcer said Andy Gonzalez has been hitting the ball well of late. He made it sound like even though the results have been showing, he is hitting even better. Anderson 2-5 with a HR tonight for Birmingham. He has been hitting from the 2 spot in the last 2 games which is interesting. Villacis didn't do so well after 4 innings, but was pulled maybe due to injury or rain. Nice relief from Bull and LaMura gets Bham the 9-5 win. Box Score Kanny Box Score Great Falls lost 8-4. Roberts 3-4, is doing very well so far (10/20). Lucy 0-3 with a walk. July 4, 200421 yr It's nice to see Schnur continue to slowly bring up his avg.; it's almost to .280 now. Also, anyone know why Hansen only went 2 innings for Great Falls? injury? And, it's good to see Roberts start off this well.
