July 12, 200421 yr I get more fired up seeing that HUGE smile after another White Sox Winner! SHINGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! I was thinking the exact samething after both of his last two saves. He is genuinely happy, and not some macho coolness, after a home win.

I think it's funny that we treat Shingo as such a "foriegner", when in all reality he is no different than all of the other players out there that need a green card to play in the league. Magglio needs one, Sosa needs one, Jose probably does. But since Shingo is Japanese, he is an oddity. Sad really. The gong is also wrong. Just plain wrong.

July 12, 200421 yr Lighten up....a lot :headshake I am. I'm fine, I am not going crazy. Trust me. Just an observation, as anybody else might have about anything else. Trust me, people are getting more worked up over Carlos and his first swing than I am over this. As Johnny B. used to say (cue music) "I'm a happy boy!" We all just need to step in the s*** at one point or another, and I think it appears it was my turn.

My dad has a green card (no, not American Express, the one to stay here hehe - he's from Ireland) and he calls himself and others foreigners all the time. What the hell is wrong with calling someone a foreigner?!

July 12, 200421 yr f.e.s.? No, he is from Romania. He lived there until he was 3. And then lived in Germany for a few years. You would never know it though. He is a typical American 22 year old. I'm not sure, but I think he still has his green card. I know he did at one point, but he doesn't talk about it much, so he might not have it now.
