The Curse Of the West Coast

Maybe we need to return every piece of cursed Aztec gold and for the blood that initially took it to be repaid...

This curse talk sounds like some other group of fans...

I ended up taking a MVP 2004 break listening to the game on the radio.

Believe me or not, I did the same exact thing :o

He looked pretty good, not great, but good enough. He was throwing strikes with the fastball, which he doesn't always do. He's got a great arm, so when he does, he's tough. Yeah, we helped him out by swinging at a few high ones and taking a couple of changeups(or whatever his breaking ball is) down the middle, but when a guy throws a fastball anywhere from 94-98 with movement while getting strikes, he's tough.

It was a tough game. I saw the radar hit 97 from Harden, we got hosed on the double play call at first, which was a big call, and Timo had a brain cramp. Minny lost, so it wasn't a bad night. You want a bad night? Be a Cubs fan in the second inning. That was a bad night. Broke my heart.

Good perspective. :notworthy

Last night was just poorly played. But the sox did play well their first two games up there and could have won both of those games and would have won atleast won if shingo was the closer. Yesterday was basically a flashback to the way the sox have played up there the last 3 years but the first two games were actually very well played. I like the next two matchups but obviously don't like mulder vs. elo. Hopefully mark and freddy pitch well and we can split this series.

the game was incredibly boring, sox didn't seem into it......at all.

Agreed. I think the reason the lose there is that it is impossible to get up for a game there. The fans are soooo quiet. That place must just lull you to sleep. In know we don't set any attendance records either, but it really seems like they sit on their hands there.

Oh my gosh - some people on this board are really starting to get on my nerves. They see an opportunity to jump all over something and they do just that. Really pisses the hell out of me, especially on days like this.

We can't win in Oakland this year, but neathier can any other team. The A's are 30 and 13 at home. So its not like the they are f***ing push overs.
