July 22, 200421 yr We need a new catcher before we do anything... How about we get Jason Kendell and Jose Mesa in a package... I know Mesa isn't what most of you think of when you think of a stud bullpen guy but i'm trying to be realistic. He's an upgrade over Mike Jackson. We can get JK fairly cheap if we can absorb most of his salary (Maybe the Pirates could only pick up 20 % and we could take the rest.) Anyone else like this idea...
