Yeah, they've reported it on the radio this morning. Kind of scary

Very scary. Get well soon.

This is gettin scary. Has anybody ever heard of this parasite thing? This might be way off base. But does anybody think this has anything to do with obsessive steroid use?

I was thinking steroid s*** at first, but I am not so sure about the parasites.

He hasn't felt right for a long time now and doctors cannot tell him what is wrong. He has been tested for cancer as well as HIV, both of which came back negative. If he's being tested for conditions as serious as these, you know his situation is not good. His next test is for a parasite which hides in intestinal lining, a disease that could be fatal.

I hate the Yankees as a baseball team but this is much more important than that. Here's hoping he recovers fully.

This is in the sports forum as well

man that sucks....even through all the crap about the steroids, Giambi has turned out to be a pretty nice guy. I definately like him out of the big 3 on the roids controvery (bonds, sosa,Jason).I do feel for him and for those of us in here who pray, let's pray that it's nothing serious.
