July 26, 200421 yr this will be the seventh sell-out of the year. there were six sell-outs last year. let's go!
July 26, 200421 yr IIRC, this is the first half-price sellout. So now people can't say we can only fill up the stadium on half price nights. The three Cubs games were sold out, opening day, and the last two Saturday nights, once against Seattle and once against Detroit.
July 26, 200421 yr Just how many seats does the Cell have? I remember reading 44,000 + were in attendance for each Cubs @ Sox game last year. Now all I hear is 37 +

July 27, 200421 yr The have the 2nd worst ownership group in baseball. Which is why no deals will be made over there. This is our division to lose...Really!
July 27, 200421 yr Which is why no deals will be made over there. This is our division to lose...Really! I really think they're getting Benson....
July 27, 200421 yr I'm really not that worried about Benson. He is no more than a 3 or 4 starter. He is on a hot steak right now, so they will have to overpay to get him. That would be fine with me.

They will over pay for someone who is gonna get smoked in the american league. That makes it all the better.
July 27, 200421 yr They will over pay for someone who is gonna get smoked in the american league. That makes it all the better. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It is harder than people think for an NL pitcher to step into the AL and keep doing what they're doing. The Twins schedule is tough to add insult to injury.
