And for those of you saying Maggs/Thomas missing are the problem, while they would help out our offense a lot, even they can't control our defensive woes. I can understand a slumping offense. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why the f*** we're in such a 'defensive' slump...

July 30, 200421 yr I'm not going to fall into the trap of blaming the skipper. We're sucking as a team because we can't hit without Maggs and Frank. Everett I hate to say, sucks, as a replacement.
July 30, 200421 yr I really won’t rip Ozzie apart because he is just a rookie this year. I know he needs to start learning from his mistakes, but if JM were hear I don’t even think we’d be above .500. Ozzie has really brought something different that Manuel never did and even the players say so. What is that difference? Probably Ozzieball.

What's worse is how Jose and Crede are apparently trying to outdo each other in the defensive brain cramp department these last two games. DP ball through Crede's legs... Jose can top that with a botched catch on a pop foul. DP ball Jose can't toss to Willie with a decent throw. Crede shows that up with a rediculous phantom tag that was a dead-on caught steeling (insult to injury Sandy gets charged with a passed ball error when he managed to make the peg).
